Mission House

Although our mission house is not currently available, we still encourage missionaries preparing for state side assignment to contact us if they are needing housing.

Southside Baptist Church has just approved the 216 Westmoreland house as our new Mission House! After some renovation work, we will make available for use by missionaries on an as-needed basis.  When available, the house may be made available on a rent-free basis to missionaries who are on stateside assignment for a specified period of time.  General descriptions of the properties are provided below.

The residence is completely furnished including linens, cooking utensils, dishes and towels.  The home is near the church and routine maintenance and repairs are provided by the Southside facilities staff.  The missionary guests are responsible for all utilities including local and long-distance telephone services.  No pets are allowed. 

Occupancy of the missionary houses is supervised by the Southside Mission House Committee.  To determine availability, contact the church office at 256 539-0621.  Those residing in the Southside mission house will be expected to abide by the Missionary Residence Agreement.
