Mission House
Presently, our missions house will be available in Sept. 2010. So we encourage missionaries preparing for state side assignment to contact us if they are needing housing.
Southside Baptist Church has just approved the 216 Westmoreland house as our new Mission House! We will make available for use by missionaries on an as-needed basis. When available, the house may be made available on a rent-free basis to missionaries who are on stateside assignment for a specified period of time. General descriptions of the properties are provided below.
Front of House
The residence is completely furnished including linens, cooking utensils, dishes and towels. The home is near the church and routine maintenance and repairs are provided by the Southside facilities staff. The missionary guests are responsible for all utilities including local and long-distance telephone services. No pets are allowed.
Occupancy of the missionary houses is supervised by the Southside Mission House Committee. To determine availability, contact Debbie Kidd or the church office at 256 539-0621.

Southside Baptist Church has a history of supporting missions in many ways. We pray for missionaries. We support local, state, national, and international missions financially. We go on mission trips, and several members have been called into missionary service.
